I went to a gun show today, I was very surprised at the light crowd, reasonable prices and pretty good inventory.:) There were tables full of powder for $25/pound, I bought one # of H-4895, primers were running $39/1000, not outrageous, it was actually a pretty good show. I think the hoarder's have finally shot their wad, inventory was up, prices were down.:) There were some deals to be had on guns as well, for instance, Taurus 24/7 stainless for $430.

It appears as though things are really starting to settle down in this area, Colorado Springs. I'm really glad to see it.

I also scored 40 pieces of once fired commercial .308 brass for 3 bucks, 3 bucks!!:D:)

Kindrox, compared to the $75/1000 they were going for 3 month's ago, $39/1000 is a bargain. Yeah, I did notice the factory ammo was a major rip-off in 9mm, 40 S&W and 45 ACP. That really doesn't affect me, because I reload all of my pistol calibers, with components that were bought 2 years ago for cheap.:)

Went to a show in Allentown, PA today - first time in a couple of years.

Not packed, but a good turnout (this was the last day). Walking around I found a couple of bargains (Czech VZ-24 BRNO w/ bent bolt, 7mm, for $175.00; NIB Saiga 410 shotguns for $299.00), but most of the prices were high. Tons of AR's around; a lot of M1 Garands, none under $1000.00; handguns were high, especially Glocks and Springfields. Ammo was really bad (box of 50 .380 FMJ for $35 - $45, .45 acp priced at $1 a round), but there seemed to be quite a bit still there, and .223 wasn't bad.

Not a bad day, and the dealers were selling (but not a lot that I saw), but no craziness of the last few months.
