Does anyone here have any experience with gun storage furniture? As in:

...or anything similar?

I've been thinking of something like this as a way of providing fingers-off but not obviously "gunny/security" storage for some low dollar long arms. I'm not worried about fire or heavy theft protection so much as keeping things out of casual view in a small space.

Suggestions much appreciated! :)

Years ago, I kept my guns in a glass fronted (locked) cabinet. It will keep fingers off but, as you already stated, does not provide real security. If it were me, I would get one of the revolving rotary racks (do a search for rotary gun rack) and put it in the back of a closet. It will store several rifles in a small space but allows easy access to any of them. To keep fingers off, perhaps a locking door knob on the closet. Just my suggestion.

I'm basically doing the closet rack now for these guns. It works but isn't ideal for a couple of irrelevant reasons. :)

This is the furniture I was thinking of:

I could use that as an under-window bench seat with some cushions on top and nobody would think it out of place with the rest of my furniture.
