Last night I actually watched some TV shows I had on DVR that I had not had a chance to watch yet.

Several episodes of Personal Defense TV, one of The Unit, and one of Stargate Atlantis.

Nothing like some good gun play to cap off my evening.

I especially liked the revolver segments on PDTV. My wife can't understand why I don't zip through the ads on PDTV like most of the other shows I DVR. :)

Doesn't Hurt To Axe.

Some cable providers will add a single show or shuffle around your current package for a small fee, call your provider. I asked and got a package that included all my current picks as well as the Outdoor Channel for less than I was paying before. ISYN.

ilbob, I can relate. I watched PDTV and G&A last night. My wife asks the same questions about the ads. I just set these up to record a few months ago...are there any PDTV reruns? I meant to save or "not delete" PDTV as it had a women and guns piece.

I'm surprised PDTV didn't tell me to fire a couple of warning shots into the hotel bathroom if I see the shower curtain closed.

They're strongly opposed to warning shots, I expect, as are most instructors.

Show seems to be even better that it was last season. It's on a weekly DVR.

Reruns come on Fridays, around 2PM... not sure which time zone, though.

It does seem to have improved a bit. Not too surprising. When you start something like this, you really don't know what to expect.

Its not until the viewers see the show that you find out if it is any good or not.

Speaking of that. Tom - can you tell us how well the show did/is doing as far as viewership goes?

I watched that episode the other night and thought the idea of searching the shower from the opposite side had pluses and minus'. From the vantage point that they used it essentially eliminated the point of exit for you. The other point, like they said was that, if someone were waiting in the shower, chances are they would be waiting on the rear side of the tub.
Another point on that issue would be that if they were waiting to grab or attack you, wouldn't they be waiting on you to reach your hand into the shower to turn it on? I thought allot about that after I saw it and didn't really come up with a win-win scenario. Other than that, it looked pretty solid overall.
