Actually for me, at a personal level, it kinda does.

But ... as far as the general public goes, you're right. Citizens that were on the line over CCW will see that and think something like:

"If a professional can't even handle a weapon, how is a lowly, stupid, untrainable, weak & afraid serf going to deal with one of these things?"

Well. That, or like me, they'll think something like:

"Did Andy misplace his deputy again?"

Yes, but don't most "drop-safe" laws exempt the police?
