I don't mean a collector piece you never intended to fire,or bought to turn around. I mean a working gun you intended to shoot a lot. I bought a Brno ZKK 602 .375 NIB in 1990 fired it 4-5x. Never shot it again. I swapped a Ruger Bisley .45 for a Ruger .32 H&H mag in 2002. Never shot it. Bought a NIB Winchester Coyote in .223 WSSM in 2005. Never shot it.
I still own these guns.

I have a former police Remington 870 express magnum that I've hung the typical black plastic on.
It's had rounds down it long before I got to it, but I personally have yet to send any lead down the barrel in 7 months of ownership.

Longest I ever waited to shoot a gun was about 5 months. Finished an AR over Christmas break and didn't shoot it before I went back to school.

I have two rifles bought new and never been fired (Colt 6920, 6921) and several other rifles and pistols that have seen about one range session ever. Can't say I've ever bought anything that I indended for a high volume of shooting and then just never shot at all.

In my defense the .32 H&R and .223 WSSM ammo became very difficult to find. The .375 was always going to be something else [a .378, .416, etc.] so I never had interest in the .375.

I have shot every gun I have bought but I have this friend who just buys guns...every month usually 2-3 at a time, mostly handguns and rarely gets the time to shoot any of them. He most probbaly has more than a 100 long guns and pistols. He's on the internet looking for another gun the same day he picks up his new guns. He calls it a collection. In my book, I call it an obsession/hoarding...

;) Hmmmmmm

I bought this in the mid 90s and it looked unfired. I did cycle a round through it just to get the feel but it has remained unfired. I do have it listed on another board but after twenty posts asking what it is I think it's not going anyplace. LOL

......

I bought two of my current CCW gun. I've fired mine, but the second one is still NIB. I'm just looking for a good time to give the spare to my wife for her to use as a CCW. Today is her birthday and she said she didn't want a gun for her birthday...so now what?

I have 2 shotguns that I haven't shot. I just realized that I still had one them 2-3 weeks ago. I bought some 20 gauge shells the other day just so I can take it out this weekend.

That is a pretty nice looking Madsen Lightweight Military rifle. Is the collector's market for one in unfired condition that high? I certainly grant you they are rare.

None.

I buy 'em to shoot 'em and shoot 'em as soon as possible, usually the same day.

I bought a used "Ted Williams Model 100" (Win '94) .30-30 back in early summer, still haven't fired it, and also bought a Para Ordnance LDA 12.45 around the same time. Haven't fired it either. :(

I have a Remington 870 Express 12 ga I bought from a former coworker. He won it in a raffle, but never fired it. After a couple of years of my hounding him for it, he finally sold it to me (for $150!). I had it for almost 3 years before I shot it. It has since taken a couple dozen geese, and a few varmints around the farm.

In January 2012, I bought a Savage 93 in .22WMR from my LGS. I bought a scope for it a few months later. I finally shot it this last weekend ... nearly two years later. I still haven't mounted that scope, though.

Years ago I won a DCM "lottery" that allowed me to buy an M1-D for $1000. I've never shot it. They start at 3X that now, so I doubt I will. The DCM paperwork gives it "provenience" as there are a lot of M1-D "forgeries" out there.

Other than that, I think the only other gun I have that I've never fired is a Star BM that I bought for spare parts. Generally I buy them because I want a chance to see how they shoot!

I also have a duplicate Romanian TTC, Polish, and Yugo Tokarev pistols and some SKS variations I've not shot yet. They are pretty much all the same when shooting, I bought them because I wanted the variations and they were cheap when I got them, especially the SKS variations.

I have a Winchester 1897 12gauge ive only shot 5 or 6 rounds through ever... it was always rather stiff on the action and after the last time I shot it the action locked up and will not move. think the gun might just be gummed up and needs to be taken apart and cleaned/lubed... just haven't gotten to doing it yet. guess im just not too worried about it since I also have a Mossberg 500 12gauge which is my go to shotgun.

You're not supposed to shoot them? I broke that rule on everything I purchased. I don't buy 'em because there pretty.
