Guns you have bought and never fired?

I won't own a gun I won't/can't shoot at least a few times, for example I've got an 1873 Winchester (made in 1876) that has shot at least 50 rounds of 44-40 ammo all black powder. I also have an 1874 Sharps in 45-70 made in, I believe 1874, that has shot a lot of Black Powder ammo in and is still pretty accurate using milspec ammo, As well as a Springfield Trapdoor musket also using milspec ammo. I paid a small fortune for these firearms, and I do intend to leave them with my sons when I pass from this world. Seeing as though this was a "rifle" article I won't mention my 1st generation Peacemaker, or my '58 Remington, both of which I've shot.

I have a couple of 30-30s that I have never fired. I bought ammo for them in the 1970s, just never had any interest in shooting them.

VZ 58. It is the VZ2000 by Ohio Ordnance. I bought it new and unfired from an estate back in the winter and have never gotten around to shooting it. I plan on shooting it before too long though.

Probably 95% of the guns I own I have never fired and will never fire(I am referring to centerfire). As I have said many times on this thread I am not a big shooter but collect guns like a madman. My safes are a place guns go to escape the range. Some of them were brand new when I bought them and others are a hundred years old.

For example, I have a Sig226 made in 1994 I got last year that has never been fired. It never will be as long as I am alive. I have a lot of guns like that. I also have guns that are in great shape for their age that will stay in that shape.

My grandkids are going to have a lot of fun when I die(I am 36).

I know- right... I ordered one and Dad ordered one with a group of guys before Quigley Down under came out and The Black powder cartridge craze got big... it was six years until they came in and dad could not afford his so I bought them both. My reloading set up in my old house was tight and busy with my pistols etc. I never got a decent mold for them yet and even after a move I am still setting up my reloading area(s) I need to get the stuff to shoot them... I have brass,dies and modern components but think I want to stay big lead with them... I know I need to shoot at least one of them

Bought a m&p40. Never fired it. Had it for a few months now. Don't plan on shooting it. That's for a stock pile.
