I think between $1k and $1500, but since none were made until well after 1986 us peons can't have it. FN is supposed to release a civvy version this fall though.

Realmswalker,

That based on the pistol Vash uses in Trigun? (Break-top action .45 Colt with barrel aligned with the lower cylinder) I want one very similar to that but with a normal style barrel. Think GP-100 style .45 Colt or maybe ACP (pressure issues may still be a problem, even with most factory .45, either type) with a break-top action. Quick to reload with the right speedloader or moonclips.

Plus, it just looks too cool!

Barrett

Call me hopelessly impractical, but I've always wanted a black powder/percussion automatic revolver, maybe in stainless steel.

Get some "custom" nipples made for it, it'll be automatic. Fully automatic. :D

As for the LeMat, they ARE being made currently. THR member "mec" has a few posts on them.

But are they side-gate cartridge loading (with commercial ammo), with a shotgun barrel that accepts modern commercial ammo instead of handloaded BP stuff? I am aware that firing Civil War Black-Powder Replicas are being made by companies such as Navy Arms, but modern revolvers they ain't.
Given a choice between that and the Trigun revolver, though....I think the Trigun would win. Good call, realmswalker. :)

SORRY no pics buttt.......

A Keltec Sub2000'ish Folding rifle composed of Titanium OR Scandium in .50 Beowulf, free floating barrel, Crimson trace grips, picanny rails and complete w/ hicaps. hehehehe

My own creation of almost no practical use....

I'd rather see a 1911 in 7.62x25 Tokarev but you don't need a drawing to figure that one out.

Everyone needs one of these.

This just looks nasty.

There was a guy in Tucson...

That made bowie knives with a .38 caliber derringer built in. Sweet. Always regret not picking one up. Top quality craftsmanship. Anyone here from that area? Maybe the guy is still around? Would love to know.

I think a DA/SA, cartridge loaded LeMat revolver would be nice. Nine shots, and a M203-style sliding barrel thing to load the shotgun barrel. They start making those puppies, I'm gonna be the first in line . FWIW, the LeMat was a 9-shot cap-and-ball revolver with a 16 ga. shotgun barrel as the axis for the cylinder, used in the Civil War by JEB Stuart and Stonewall.

Funny you mention that Eightball.. it just occured to me today that this recent sci-fi creation might not be totally unlike what you're asking for:

source, the new Battlestar Galactica series. Unlike its predecessor, it is an excellent drama by the way -- the opening miniseries will have you reliving 9/11, I swear.

The pistol prop seems be be just a shell around some flavor of S&W, though the secondary barrel does present some interesting possibilities. NFA-wise, making a working version would certainly be easier than a Aliens pulse rifle. What would the classifications/taxes be on say a 20 guage or .410 single-shot barrel and pistol mounted to the same frame?

There is a gentleman who makes coversions for airsofts and the like, though he is considering doing a short run in metal, so they wouldn't melt if mounted on a real Smith. I have to admit.. I'm tempted..

It exists, but...

The "Bizon" line of AK-inspired SMGs always looked good, but they aren't for sale anywhere around here! :(

They use a 64-round cylindrical mag (I think that's the capacity for 9x18 Makarov) under the barrel...looks kinda like an M203, along with a folding stock and a short barrel. Very cool. I believe it's chambered in 9x19mm, 9x17 (.380), 9x18 Makarov, and 7.62x25mm. A semiauto, 60+ round 9mm would be a lot of fun, without having the fuss of Class III. If it fed hollowpoints, it would actually make a pretty good home defense weapon.

Dirty Bob

I just want a CZ in 10mm.

a 22 pistol with a really high cap mag. like 20+ easily done on a regular frame. just apparently no one else wants one

Actually, along that line, I'd like to have a hi-cap .22 magnum - something that holds about 23-25 rounds in a standard sized grip.

If I had a P90 with a barrel that short, I'd be afraid I'd stick my support hand out in front of the barrel - does that pic show the standard length P90 or a permutation?
