Please excuse me if this is a repeat posting; I searched the archives, and couldn't find this topic.

A lot of other threads talk about the advantages of this discontinued model over that newer model gun.

What firearms would you like to see being produced now as factory new?

This could be a discontinued model or an adapted/innovative redesign, just be realistic.

Ruger Security Six

I'd love to see Ruger resurrect the Security Six in general, especially the full grip frame, not just the GP100 pegleg.

I'd especially LOVE to see them available in .357, .41 Mag, .327 FM, 10mm, .40 S&W, and .22 LR (to compete with the Smith K-22).

I might be the only schmuck who'd buy 'em, but I can dream can't I? :D

A polymer 1911 that isn't ridiculously overpriced
Single stack 9mm Glock (that is thin, not fat like the 26)
A SIG P250 with a DA/SA trigger (that also has a .22LR conversion along with the other calibers)
A polymer AK

I'd like to see the new Model 70 Featherweight in .257 Roberts and/or 6.5x55 Swedish.

S&W M&P10....as in 10mm
Ruger GP100 as a 5 shot .44 Mag
A forged, 100% American made 1911 for under $600

I would like to see some top-break revolvers.

I think a Russian company is making some but they cant be imported.

That's a very good question.

The only one that I can come up with is the Browning Superposed (I realize that it is available from the Browning Custom Shop, but the cost is prohibitively expensive. I woud like to see if back in full production.)

Winchester Model 9422.

Winchester Model 12.

Several of the old bolt action 22s from Winchester and Remington.

There are several that I would like to see put back into production at the same level of quality as they used to be. (The 870, Model 70, Model 700)

Yeh I am going there, a commander size Taurus 1911. Now I have never fired any Taurus 1911 but if they or could put out a commander for around $550 I would take a swing.

I second that security six vote as well.

A s&W m$p with the exact dimensions as a glock 19.

S&W Model 10-5 38 Special, 4" pencil barrel
Browning Auto5 Light-20
Savage 99 in 308 or 358, circa 1961.

Smith and Wesson M&P .45 - 4.5" barrel, night sights, thumb safety, no mag safety, in BLACK (not brown).

RIA/Citadel/Firestorm/whatever Philippine 1911 Tactical version with a light rail.

i may get boos for this one but the Taurus 450 .45LC snub
i still want one and the judge doesnt really count as a .45LC snub

the Bren Ten (if Vltor ever does release the new one it wont be so bad)
(and colt brought back the delta so im good there)

the Browning BDA (idk why but i like that gun)

Colt 1909 .45LC and 1917 .45ACP revolvers

a few of the performance center smiths like the 586 L Comp

Winchester 1887 10 Gauge lever shotgun

High Standard 10-B bullpup shotgun

Savage 210 Slug Warrior 12 Gauge

theres probably more but thats a few on my list they dont make anymore or the new ones arent like the old ones etc...

I second the Winchester 1887. I know Norinco makes a copy, but I'd much rather have a nice American made version by its original manufacturer.

Marlin Camp Rifle in .45 ACP or .40 S&W that can accept high-cap magazines (Para type).

Reising Model 60 semi-auto rifle in .45 ACP

i second
