Two of the most memorable.
I shot a S&W 500 mag.. I also got to do the reloading for that one, which were full throttle magnum loads. That was awesome. The owner never shot it even once, he bought it NIB, and then didn't have the nerve to shoot it after watching me shoot it? Unfortunately he sold it about a month after buying it, what a total waste.
The other, and it's probably not much to some, but I knew a guy that had a TC, and he had a bunch of different barrels for it. It was pretty cool to shoot basically a handgun chambered in 300 WM.
I've shot and hunted with a bunch of really nice shotguns, the super high end stuff. These were extremely difficult to take my hands off of. I had a friend who's Dad collected and hunted with super, super high end shotguns. Franchi, and a bunch of hand made European one of a kinds. Some of the finishes, engravings, and the wood, oh, I get all giddy every time I think about those. This was back in the 70's, and even then these were $10k + shotguns, lots of S/S doubles, a couple O/U's, lots of singles. I lost touch with that fellow back in the late 80's, but I bumped into his son in the early 90's, and his Dad had passed and left him all the SG's, and I got one more opportunity to hunt quail with one of those beautiful SG's. He had at least 75 of them.
