Gunshow purchase.....S&W 29-2...

At the Berea Ohio show I picked up a very nice .44 mag. Gun is about 1972/73 vintage. Blueing is near perfect. Only blemish is a slightly buggered extractor rod which I plan on relacing.

Well, it's a bit more complicated since they are 29-2 models.

See, 29 -2 = 27, 27 + 27 = 54
