im looking for any information on where i can locate and purchase a .22LR cylinder for an H&R model 650 .22 combo revolver. i have the 22mag cylinder but need the .22LR 6 shot cylinder. any suggestions?
I have this exact model with both cylinders, very reliable and fun to shoot. Mine belonged to my late father, so no chance I'll sell you any of its parts!
you find the right cylinder does not mean it will work in your revolver. The timing of the frame system and the cylinder have to be coordinated at the factory. Someone who knows more than me please tell the person asking if I am wrong or right. Hate to see you spend the money on a cylinder than not have it work.
The H&R cylinders don't need to be timed by a gunsmith like Single Sixes. If you get another one, it'll drop right in and work just fine. That's one of the reasons I like H&Rs. I have a few H&Rs and the cylinders interchange & work perfectly. I needed a cylinder for one of the convertibles and just bought another gun that only had the other cylinder. I now have 2 guns that can shoot each.
