I just pulled out a box in the closet from my Uncles estate. I found out he got it when he was only 14.
This is the original box with a Harrington & Richardson "922" Double Action Revolver .22 in it. This old gun looks like brand new. I checked out the numbers on the gun and it was manufactured in 1951.
I really dont know much about H & R. Does anyone know much about these guns. Looks like a fall out cylinder? I will probably sell it but not sure what its worth. Most of my revolvers are S & W and Ruger but this is a nice little .22
Any info would be helpful.

H&R revolvers are well made but don't look for smooth trigger pulls and fine finishing. They don't have a lot of collectro value and even in the pristine condition your's is in it will only bring a few hundred dollars at best.

It's a safe, well made gun and unless you need the money I'd keep it around as a spare.

I have my uncles's 1950 model 922, he bought it new, and I still have the box manual, hang tag, and receipt. He paid $ 24 for it.
Also a 1954 model 922.
They are utility grade guns, but very well made, and both are great shooters!
Even in LNIB condition,, about the most I have seen them bring is in the $ 200 range.
The fact that mine was one of my uncle's guns makes it not for sale, at any price!!
I suggest you keep yours for sentimental value. You aren't going to make a lot of money, and you may be sorry later!
Just my 2 cents.
Best
Jim

p.s. If you do decide you don't want it, email me. Maybe we can work something out!
