I have a H&R model 949 that I'm trying to find a laser sight that I can install to help me shoot varmits at night on a cattle ranch. Could anyone out there give me advice.

I have a H&R M949 and didn't think to put a laser sight on it but I guess it's not a bad idea. I don't know too much about laser sights but I think you might be better off with a red-dot sight instead. Aimpoint makes all kinds of good sights that might work better than a laser sight. The laser might scare off the varmints whereas with the red dot, you only see it.
