I picked up a Rem Model 700™ VS SF™ II in .223 that comes with the HS Precision stock, and I REALLY like this stock. What other makes of rifles come with this stock as standard, should I wish to try something a little different next time?

This is the nicest synthetic stock that I have tried so far.

HS Precision doesn't only make stocks. They make complete guns using their stocks. Check out their website.

One of the bonuses...everything is made in their factory in the USA.

Hey do you have any photos?
I have a 700 in .223 but it's a BDL in stainless with a synthetic stock. I am thinking about a replacement stock as I work on my little project.

HS Precision does make good stuff--rumored to be second in the business only to McMillan. I've never used an HS Precision, but the McMillan on my dad's custom .338 is very nice. I couldn't believe how much better it was than the factory stock.

HS Precision stocks are included on Remington's Sendero, I believe, as well as some of the Weatherbys.

Remington 700P has them, and a slightly different version on the LTR. Some Winchester M70's had them as well, but they are not as common.

They are truly nice stocks. Their rifles are nice as well, but a little too pricey since you can get a full blown custom for the same money or even less.

I have one of their sporters...built to my specs. It's a phenomenal rifle in all aspects. Impeccable quality and spectacular accuracy. The best endorsement I can provide is to say I'd gladly purchase another.

Savage Long Range Precision Varminter

A lot of the synthetic stocks on the varmint and precision rifles of most of the mainstream gun manufacturers are made be HSP. Personally, I prefer McMillan.
