well I decieded to return H110 sounds to tricky for me they now have 2400 in stock got that instead sounds like a safer bet at my level of experence thanks for all advise given
any input on 2400 sounds like it can be good with lswc and has a safer load range.
I like 2400 because it's safe to load at lower pressures. H110/296, well I don't really care for the "Go hot or stay home" requirement. You can load 2400 down a fair ammount. It simply gets a bit messy, not scary. Opinions vary, but from what I've seen, Standard small pistol primers are plenty for 2400, YMMV.
One of my favorite .357 loads is 14.0 gr of 2400, 158 gr SWC & CCI 500 primer. I don't recall what max was exactly, 15.3 IIRC. (Note: Sanity check all loading data you find on a forum against published data.) I tend to stop at the most accurate load, and leading picks up when you go higher.
