H380 in the .308

Anyone use this powder in .308? I started using it for .22-250 and like using it. Sure would simplify things if I could just get rid of Varget and have 1 powder.

And please don't suggest keep Varget and use it in the .22-250.

H380 works well with .308 bullets, especially with the 150-160gr bullets. (Hornady FWIW)

Hodgdon powders in general are very versatile for quite a a few rifle load "combos".

I'm another fan of H380

I use a lot of H380. Not the fastest powder, so if you wanted ultra high velocity with super light bullets out of you 308, it wouldn't be your first choice. But it's great for 125gr to 250gr bullets. As Beelzy pointed out, pretty close to optimum for mid-weight to heavy bullets.
