I already have a Aimpoint and Eotech and I'm looking for a less expensive red dot for another carbine. Any good or bad experiences with Hakko, C-more railway or Oko red dots. Thanks, JR
i have a Hakko & a Colt C-More.., they are both great !! the Hakko has a larger vision area & a bit faster on quick target aqusition, my C-More needs new battery, it has been running on the same battery for three years, & getting kinda dim !!
how do you like your EO Tech ? i was thinking about one of those for my next sighting device ??
Only have experience with the OKO and C-More and I much preferred the OKO, though the C-More was OK for range use once you got its infernal sight adjustments where you wanted them.
AR-15Nutt, I like the Eo Tech, the ring around the dot seems a little fuzzy. Seems like this is a common complaint for the Eotech. I've heard the Hakko is hard to adjust with no clicks, is this your experience? JR
i'm going with hakko myself. less than the c-more and oko and made of aluminum. i tried it out on my buddies AR and decided it was for me. very clear dot and different reticles.
my biggest complaint on both sights are the difficulty in getting them zeroed & the different size allen wrenches to adjust them.....
parallax has never been noticable, but if you want my opinion on the very best sight/scope for an AR is the Trijicon TA-31.....!!! i have changed this scope to three different AR-15s & that sucker is damn near zero on all three without adjustments.......
I picked up a Hakko Panorama from a local shop that had it sitting for a year. I stuck it on my Model One M4gery flat top on a Bushie lower and it works just fine.
Good deal and very nice little reflex with four choices of reticles that all co-witnessed nicely when I zeroed from the bench. I thought I'd have to rezero if I switched reticles, but no such problem.
I haven't tried the C-More, but both my OKO and my Hakko work great and have fast acquisition. The OKO seems to have a slightly clearer dot, but I think I prefer the versatility of the Hakko's four reticles. Either way, they're both good choices in my book.
