Hi All,
Hope life is well and all the stimulus money has made you very rich and your health care will soon be taken care of....

Hasn't worked for me so I came up with a crazy idea for a castle nut tool...actually it wasn't about the money at all, I was just frustrated with the crap that was out there.

Anyway...I've sent out a number of tools to guys here on THR and would love to hear back from you....have had some fantastic reviews posted and it made me believe that to a small degree, I actually made a difference to the guys using the AR-M4 platform for a living.

Let me know what you think...this is America and if you think the tool sucks then say so...that's why our brothers and sisters are sacrificing it all for this very right.

Thanks to all...your input will make a tool that works and it will help to keep the evolution going.

Keep the lead flowing in the right direction, Bob

i got one of these a few weeks ago and have used it a little. it's currently at my local gunsmith's where it gets used daily, getting a better workout. i haven't had time to put together a review, but initial impression is that it's a fantastic little tool that compliments some of the other tools out there very well.

HHRT

Hope to hear back from you regarding how you like the HammerHead Rifle Tool.

On the 1st of April I was happy to send the 1500th tool out the door to the "average joe". This means more to me than the big buyers....it's a great feeling to have the people who use the tool to really like it and need it. Including lots of LE units around the country...small armorers, and many from the military.

Feed back has created a new barrel nut tool due out next week to my beta testers...should hit the market within the month.

Thank you again and please send feedback from your local gunsmith who has the tool...all is appreciated!

I have one of the review units and I have to say I'm impressed. I've tried just about every function and it works flawlessly. I especially make use of the little pointy nub at the bottom end for poking out the takedown pins. Before I'd have to scramble to find a punch or a screwdriver and this works a lot better. The feel in the hand is great. The tool seems to have been designed and shaped to fit in the human hand, whereas the competing products are far less ergonomic. It's lightweight and slips into my rifle bag unnoticed.

I was not able to use the castle nut function yet. My adjustable stock is the lowest common denominator $40 POS stock from Taiwan (I'm starting a small business on Hope and Change fumes too) and the Hammerhead Rifle Tool just doesn't engage with the cheap castle nut on this unit, the castle nut is too far out of spec. One day I hope to get a decent Magpul stock and crank down the castle nut with the Hammerhead Rifle Tool.

Good product and by the way --a GREAT PRODUCT NAME! ;-)

P.S. When the tool's not in use, my 3 year old son enjoys laying the product flat on the kitchen table and packing the various openings in the tool with moon sand. It makes a fantastic extruder for play-doh too. Maybe a secondary market Bob, make these from injection molded plastic and sell to the preschool set.

New calling

Mark, thanks for the feedback.....as well as the new idea for great take down tools for all the "Mattel" kids stuff.....or for "Play-doh" re-loaders....

By the way...you have some pretty good insight to the "toy" side of things...the AirSoft world uses real parts for their very crazy high end rifles and buy the same tools and components as the "live fire" world does...I had NO idea. Blown away that an Airsoft rifle could cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!

Take care and keep the lead flowing in the right direction, Bob
