Handgun Hunting in Europe?

Hello,

Does anyone know if there are some countries in Europe where one may hunt with a handgun?

I bought a Smith & Wesson Performance Center .460 to go black bear and alligator hunting in the U.S. but I would also like to go handgun hunting closer to home (I live in Belgium).

Belgium is supposed to be relatively good about guns, but I have no clue about your question. Contact local police station, they should be able to point you to someone who can answer your questions.

Forget the police and talk to your Fish and Game people. The government department that issues your hunting licence. I'd be very surprised if any European country allows hunting with handguns though. It's my understanding that just owning a handgun is difficult.
