Handguns you'd like them to make

I would like to see S&W make a stainless
steel N frame with a round butt.

Fixed or ajustable sights,no locks and
chambered in 357,10mm,44spl/44mag
45 acp and 45 colt.

Of course they would have a heavy barrel
with a full lug.

380acp, locked breech mechanism, double stack, polymer, 5" barrel, DA/SA, Manual Safety, Passive Safety, Decocker. Specifically designed for the recoil and/or weight intollerant, to give them the maximum capable self-defense sidearm. I'm sick of recommending 22lr for those people who ask me.

Colt 1903

10/22 pistol under $400

Mine is a simple list, and would easy for them to do tomorrow ...

Colt Delta Elite 10mm

SW1911 10mm

S&W 1006/1066TSW's

642 variation with a Scandium frame (instead of regular aluminum). I dislike titanium cylinders. I understand sleeved barrels aren't going to change, but why not a 642 variation ... or even a 442 ... with the Scandium frame????

Easy peasy, I think about this stuff ALL the time.

California legal S&W 1006. No other changes, except make a 1911 style thumb safety optional.

And from here on out, lets just assume these will all be PRK legal, shall we? :banghead:

Reintroduce the S&W 639. I don't really care for the 3rd series grips all that much, but even a 3906 would be nice. Some of us would like full size but thin 9mm handgun. Make a 1911 style thumb optional.

A 1911 truly scaled around the 9mm cartridge. Or someone start making the old Star BM with ambi safeties, good steel and good fitting. Or STI should make their LS with a 9mm sized mag well and grip. That would be cherry!!!!

S&W revolvers without MIM parts. I will go along with the lock if I must, but please change the frame shapes back to the original style. The extra material in K and L frames around the rear sight just irks me no end.

Colt to reintroduce the Detective Special in .38, 9mm, .32 Magnum.

Ruger to trim the GP100 just a bit, so it is sleeker, like a Security Six. The darn things are just too bulky to me. Or conversely, leave 'em be and chamber 'em for the 10mm Ruger Rimmed, a new proprietary cartridge that is simply the 10mm auto with a rim.

Someone needs to make a 1911 without MIM, that is properly fitted, especially as regards extractors, feed ramps, and safeties. I hear too many horror stories of NEW guns that don't feed, don't extract, don't plain work. Hey, if y'all are gonna jump on the 1911 band wagon, make sure you know what you are doing.:banghead:

A SIG P225 with the trigger guard of a 228/229. I know, I know, there is the 239, but I don't like it's guard. As long as we are at it, offer a choice of steel or aluminum frames.

Since we are busy modifying German guns, someone needs to offer a CNC Luger. No real changes except there should be a slightly enlarged version as well, chambered for 10mm, .38 Super, and what the heck, 7.62x25! And ambi safeties!

Yeah, that brings something else up, a 1911 in 7.62x25. Perhaps a Star based design, to eliminate the grip safety, if it wouldn't horrify the 1911 crowd TOO much.

Hey Ruger! You introduced the new smaller framed New Vaquero, so where are the Bisley and Sheriff Model versions? And lets get with it. Bills gone, make a darn .44 Special for gosh sakes! Have you seen how many Bowen, Gallagher, Clements, Linebaugh, et al, have turned out? You have .44 barrel stock, you have P sized frames, get with the program.

And for goodness sake, make some smaller self shuckers, okay Ruger? What the heck, everything you guys make are the super economy size! how about a smaller 9mm or .45 ACP. Or even, gasp, a .380 pistol!!

Shall I continue?

About 3 years ago guns and ammo said that HK was going to be making a 1911 with help from that special forces guy (I don't know his name) who is supposed to make the worlds most coveted custom 1911's. So far, it hasn't happened.

Also, I would like to see a modern DA 1877 Thunderer repro. I almost got an original one, but I couldn't stand the idea of not being able to shoot the hell out of it, or breaking it doing so.

Doh! You beat me to it, 1911JMB. :D

And for at least one ammo supplier to re-introduce the .41 Long Colt (for us sissy-boy non-reloaders.)

Also, Merwin & Hulbert repros.

Somthing not Black ,Tactial, or plastic. No head lights or red pointy dot Don't have a train so don't need a rail either. In other words a real pistol .

Colt 1903

Hey that is what I was going to post - great minds must think alike. The only thing I would add is Colt Detective Special.

I wish they would make Pythons like they used to. I guess though with all the time it took to hand rub the finish it wouldn't be anywhere near cost effective anymore. :(

1. bren ten with quality parts and bunches of mags
2. colt pocket hammerless
3. a 1911 made nice and loose to JMB's original specs with some of those nice old rollmarks

CNC produced Remington 51 .380, with a more practical thumb safety

10mm longslide 1911's. Why no one builds these as a matter of course is beyond me. It allows the 1911 action to handle the cartridge effortlessly, with no strain, and would make a fine hunting handgun.

Single stack magazine Glock 9mm, both pocket and service size

Single stack Glock .45 ACP (NOT GAP!) that takes 1911 magazines. Ditto a single stack 10mm Glock using a 1911 magazine. That would be a very nice handgun.

Those Ruger New Vaqueros that I mentioned above in .44 Special? Those should have catalog mates in .218 Bee, .32-20, 10mm Ruger, and for the SASS buffs out there, .38-40 and .44-40.

Ruger Single Six with the old blade rear sight, chambered in .22 LR & Mag, .32 Mag, .17 (both), and the new .25 RRM (Ruger Rimfire Magnum). Custom builders chambr thse in .38 Special, Ruger should too.

The Ruger Alaskan should be available in .44 Magnum also. A 4" barreled version in .44, .454, and .480 would be nice as well.

C'mon Ruger, a five shot Blackhawk and/or Bisley in .480 is so easy to make. why aren't you?

Finally produce the Ruger MKIII in .17HM2, and come up with an alternative loaded chamber indicator that is less obtrusive. The MKIII disconnector is bad, but at least it is invisible, but that atrocious bar on the side of the receiver, ack, urk.

Colt should do whatever it takes to produce the SAA more economically. Note that I did not write cheaper. If anything, their quality needs to improve for the money. Hey, if USFA can do it, why can't Colt? My USFA Flattop Target .44 Special is a piece of art, and it cost me less than a garden grade Colt. Wassup wid dat?

Reintroduce the Walther PP Super, only chambered in .380ACP. I don't know why I like .380 and 9mm so much, effeminite cartridges that they are, but unusual, finely built small autos so chambered are very cool.

Re-introduce the Automag, build it with CNC technology. Refine the weak points, and chamber it for .357, .41, and .44 Automag. Also build a .45 Win Mag, .475 Wildey, and 50AE chambered version. While we are at it, make a scaled down version to handle .45 ACP and 10mm.

We re-introduced the Luger, why not a 21st century Broomhandle? Make it in 7.62x25, 9mm, .38 Super, .357 SIG, 10mm & .45 ACP. Also make a scaled down version in .22LR or .22 Magnum.

I like this game!
