Happy Birthday John Moses!..........his father was no slouch when it came to designing firearms either. His harmonica rifle was pretty innovative.
 
Now here's a birthday that should require national observance! This man has done more to provide the quality tools necessary to preserve our union than most any other.
His face should be on our money.
 
In honor of his Birthday I have some neat advertisements for guns he designed from 1889. They were among paper of a court case for which I was QCing scanned images of physical documents.

I'd like to concur, but I think his crowning achievements were the BAR and the 37 mm automatic cannon. The 37 mm cannon led to substantial development in military rapid fire cannons for both land-based and airborne weapons.

Amazing man...
