I've never wanted an AR-15 platform for myself.
But today, I took my wife's birthday present (S&W M&P-15 Sport) out to sight it in on iron sights and Red Dot so it'll be ready for her to shoot on her birthday.
Now I find myself wanting one for me...

I want one of my .32 ACP 'grail' guns.
A Remington 51 (.32 ACP, not .380 ACP) or an Astra 4000 (Falcon) in .32 ACP.
Unless, of course, I find a Government Model or K-Frame Smith (pinned barrel) in .357 Magnum for some obscenely low price...

A CZ (Dan Wesson) GI 1911 when it comes out.
Build 3 more AR15's (on top of the 2 I'm building now. Right now, this is as cheap as they're ever going to get folks.) Likely a pistol and a carbine, not sure what the 3rd will be. Barrels for $99, Uppers and lowers for $100 together, $8 magazines.

Hey, just what you see pal.A phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range...
I've been thinking about getting a full size CZ75 of some sort, possibly the BD. I have a PCR and love it, but looking for a full sized steel 9mm for range use and nightstand duty. Maybe I'll get one this year.

To be perfectly honest I might be good where I'm at right now. I'm focusing now on setting myself up to reload and I'll be focused on securing reloading components this coming year.
Instead of buying more guns I'll get more familiar with the ones I have and try to learn to shoot them proficiently.
OK... if a Hi-Point falls into my lap I could use it as a guinea pig to work up handloads, hehehe. No need to risk quality steel if I don't have to.

I always love to look, but at the age of 70 I really can't think of a specific want or need. I'm happy with what I've got and what I shoot, and am actually culling a few back-of-the-safe lurkers.
Of course, that will leave some extra room.....

just made a deal on a like new one with five mags and case the other day. I was supposed to pick it up today but I ended up in the hospital. Oh well, I should be out tomorrow and pick it up then.
The one one that I R-E-A-L-Y want wicked wicked bad right now is a 460 XVR. I want one in the 5-7" range. I am not sure if they even made one with an unfluted cylinder in anything other than the 3" gun, but a 5 or 6 1/2" with unfluted cylinder would be perfect.

I'm like tenpig. I'm actually going to thin the herd a bit. Although I think one of those new S&W L frame 44 magnums may be in my future
As of today, I am leaning towards a revolver of some kind. I don't have any revolvers. I didn't realize that S&W had so many models. Maybe a Ruger lcr 9mm with an ankle holster. I can't fit any more long guns unless I get a new safe.

I've been wanting an 1874 Sharps in 45/70, but looking at the Shiloh and C. Sharps Arms websites, even if I bought one today, it wouldn't get delivered until next year! But if I could find a nice S&W Model 25 in 45 Colt in the meantime....or a 686, or a 51, or a sweet 6"14 target everything.

For me this will be a rifle year. I've spent far to much on handguns and I need to get some distance if you know what I mean. Ill be building and Ar-15 within the next few months using mostly PSA and Magpul parts and a .308 bolt is coming shortly after that. If i have the funds i may invest in another rifle as well but i am undecided on what it will be. (Possibly a 22-250 or a 7mm-08.) Next year will be year of the shotgun!
