Just wanted to know if anyone was familiar with these grips. They were in my dad's not wanted box, must have been for his service revolver. Anyway they are made by Harrett's and are wood, model RSB. Anyone know what handgun these are for?

"...Ruger super blackhawk..." Yep. A Yahoo search turns that up. Herrett doesn't seem to be making them as a standard product though.
Herrett grips are very good grips. Have a set of the Adjustable Target grips on my Smith 41. Nice. Didn't pay $78 for them though. $20Cdn at a gun show a very long time ago.

Everything I've read about them seems to indicate that they do a tremendous job of reducing recoil as perceived by the shooter who custom ordered them. Apparently they take a tracing of your hand and build the grips to fit you perfectly. I have trouble coughing up north of $100.00 for a small piece of wood, but I do respect the ability the Herrett folks.
