A Beretta Tomcat after about 17 rounds, what a lousy pistol that is.

Other than that I've never had a catastrophic failure.

My first hand-gun was a Taurus Millenium Pro pt-140. The first time I fired it, the magazine came lose. I took it back downstairs to the show room and the salesman said it was because my hand was on the mag realease. So I let the range officer fire it and the same thing happened.

My Smith and Wesson M&P15A had the buffer spring detent just "disappear" at the range on day. Still waiting on S&W to send it back. Been about 4 weeks.

Well I don't really know if I broke the gun or not but I couldn't shoot it, thats for sure. I bought a FiveseveN Herstal pistol back in Mar 08' and after my second trip from the range, I had field striped my pistol for cleaning, reassembled it, cycled the slide back & forth a few times, and after about the fourth time of working the slide it locked up in the closed position. I could not move the slide more than 1/8 on an inch. I call FN and talked with Bob, he told be to send it back (on their dollar) they sent a UPS pickup tag and all I had to do was pack it up tight. I must say Bob & FN have great customer service as I had my pistol back in less than 2 weeks. I only wish I was told what went wrong, as I can only assume that I made a mistake when reassembling the gun. LM

Taurus Model 605, all Titanium, .357MAG Snub (16oz). First three rounds and I noticed it was off time. Took it back to Dealer and he sent it back to Taurus. 29 days later it was back with a new cylinder, adjusted barrel and yoak. This took place about two months ago. Revolver is perfect now and I'm happy. It is still my main Carry & Conceal weapon.

Para P14 LDA

35 guys did a group buy on Para's LDA. 12 of them sent back for (SFF)snap fire failures.Let just say guns wont go bang! when you need it too.3 other guns fired 2 to 3 round and vitually fell apart or jammed where I think a hammer would be the only way to return the slide. All guns were sent back to Para. What Para has returned so far are doing the same exact snap fire failure. All I can say is What Junk!Im close to 1k and all I got is a chunk of metal that I can pound nails with... I should have bought a Kimber...

Old Navy: I would have expected no less from the glocks either, especially the G17 and 19.

Kel-Tec P11 Stainless. At less than 400 rounds, S&B 115 gr. fmj, cracked slide. A 1 cm crack along the left top of the slide, from the breach forward. Scary! Great response from Kel-Tec, less than one week turn-around, but I traded it back to the shop I bought it from, "unfired after the repair". They had sent it back to Kel-Tec for me so they new what they were getting.
