Has anyone compared the SAR B6P to the REAL CZ 75

A Friend that shoots with me has the SAR B6 in 9mm and I have shot this gun many times as well as my CZ 75. I am most impressed with the SAR B6. It is very reliable and shoots everything I feed it. It only cost him $295 and I paid more than $600 for my CZ 75. I consider the Turkish SAR pistol a great buy . SAR or Sarsilmaz has been making guns for over 100 years and also are used by the Turkish Army too. Buy it and enjoy. Snoop

I had the chance to check out an EAA SAR at a store. Looks like an ok gun. I wouldn't say it feels like ULTRA high quality, I wouldn't put it in the same category as say a metal 1911 in feel or in the plastic realm, the clean manufacturing of a Glock (of which I'm not a fan even though I appreciate the machining and build quality). I'd like to see what a CZ75 feels like.

In my opinion, no difference. Either way, if they're that concerned about the strength of the pistol, I'll pass.

Check out the Canik/Tristar I have the C100 and think it to be a very good value over 400 rds down pipe with no failures its a excellent CZ copy

I handled a Canik clone recently. It was similar to the full size CZ-75B, but I think it had an aluminum frame. The fit, and finish seemed good, and they are attractively priced.

Would you say they're better than the SAR's. I also saw a Canik but didn't spend a ton of time with it. I liked the look (updated styling from the CZ75) and feel of the SAR a little better.

The SAR is starting to show up at gunshows here. About $300+tax. One benefit is lighter than a steel cz75. Also takes same mags. Mine does not accept the Kadet .22 adapter. For all day carry the weight might be a plus. Whole slide is steel and would not worry about it failing with +P ammo. Just my $.02

It will be interesting to see what the current importer Task/SAR says about plus p. the previous importer seems to lable all of their imports as not rated for plus p and its use will invalidate the warranty. SAR says they use enhanced material along with CNC production and it would be unlikely that they would build the pistol to be less usable than the CZs.
