It seems that most of the major gun manufacturers have already introduced their new guns, or in the case of Ruger, new chamberings for existing models.

Marlin to introduce some new lever guns, pistol calibers, a few with threaded barrels for a can.

I heard about a subcompact Polymer80 frame. I was going to get the compact frame, but now I think I'll wait for this one.

Since I started this thread Ruger has introduced their new 9mm carbine. I've heard rumors that at least 2 manufacturers are coming out with lower-priced MP5 clones.

So far THE big news is the SIG 365. Ultra compact 9mm with a TEN rd capacity. Similar in size to the G-42/43.

I'm interested to see how the AR accessory market is doing? How many AR related booths there will be ,compared to the past few years. That market is so flooded with product.

CZ has the Micro Scorpion and the P-10C Nitride, off the top of my head.

Besides the Sig 365, the 3" Kimber K6S is the most interesting to me so far.

Yes. The new marlin catalogue shows the 1894cs, lots of stainless/laminated guns in all calibers, even some stainless threaded barrel action.

A year from now...the ONLY gun that anyone will recall from SHOT 2018....the SIG 365.

They are going to sell tons of them.

IIRC I did see a .357 at the Marlin booth. Should have the 2018 catalog on their site.

The Sig 365 will be big, but for me the one I will remember is the new MP5 clones coming out namely the PSA5.

I agree with that. I was looking at the Zenith MP5's as well.

FN, I agree with you on the Sig 365. They probably will sell a ton of them. Not to me. But then I need a carry gun like I need another hole in my head.
The MP5, I just don’t see the point. Now a real MP5 I get. I would sell a motorcycle to get one. But a semiauto MP5, I don’t get the point at all.

Well, NOW I have (since I've been watching SHOT videos for two months now). There's a ton of cool stuff - just go watch the myriad of videos on 2018 shot. It's unreal how much gun and non-gun stuff is new, as usual, and yes, the bulk of the gun stuff is somehow MSR rifle related, if you include all the pistol cal carbines and CAA / RONI type rigs.
