Has Sig worked out the bugs on the .22 mosquito yet?

I want another .22 since I junked my SS Ruger MKIII. I bought the MKIII new and hands down the worst gun I have ever owned, JAMMMMMMOMATIC and it sucked to brakedown and clean.

I have read many people being unhappy with the .22 Sig. Mosquito's when they 1st came out, however, any word on the latest production models?
bugs worked out yet?

As far as I know the only choices I have for a new .22 handgun in Mass are:

Ruger MKIII
S&W 41
Walther P22
Sig. Mosquito

There are probably others, but these are the ones I know of.

From what I witnessed last week, no. The guy had just bought it, but I have no way of knowing when the gun was built.

If cost is not a concern then The Beretta 87 Target is a great .22 lr pistol. Maybe a conversion slide and barrel like a CZ Kadet kit or complete Kadet pistol.

I have a Mosquito with well over a thousand rounds through it. They are picky about ammo, they need to be kept squeaky clean, and the trigger isn't great out of the box. But they are a boat load of fun to shoot.

Just about anything you want to know about the Mosquito can be found in this thread:
