Don't let what happen to me?
In the past some of our firearms were reclassified by the government too. The Streetsweeper , Striker 12 shotguns went from being regular firearms to an NFA item with the stroke of a pen by Treasury Secretary Lloyd Bentsen. As you may know, NFA items here in the U.S. require $200 tax stamps and special registration for each item.Put aside for a moment borders, language barriers or geographical location and realize that all <deleted> aside we are all the same, Just ordinary people who enjoy firearms. Why should any police force dictate what we can own or not own. It may not seem like it but what is happening to us affects all firearms owners. This sets a scary precedent that any other government can look at and say "we'll look how they did it maybe that could work for us". I'm not asking you to come fight in the streets with us but to simply spread the word.

The loss of the firearm's value is irrelevant. Something much greater has been taken away from them.Sounds like THEFT to me.
I found this, and there is a LOT of reading here. Are there any words in the Canadian Constitution that gives the people of Canada the right to keep and bare arms?
