I was just indicating jealousy over such a fine spread of Mausers you can lay hands on immediately.
Have any of you ever had a 98 Mauser malfunction?

I've had one failure on my M48A so far. I was using some '53 Turkish surplus and I chambered a round but no matter what I did, I could not get the extractor around the rim. So I took a cleaning rod and carefully removed the round. Every other time, however, when I turned the bolt down the extractor grabbed hold.
