Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

I've been on a gun dry spell lately. But the past couple weekends I have picked up a few things at a couple yard sales. First, I picked up a Keltec SU-22. It was dressed with all kinds of tacticool crap on it, which I removed. I probably overpaid at $325 but I had the cash in my pocket and didn't want to leave empty handed. It's a fun gun to play with so I am happy with it.

And this past weekend, I attempted to buy an Ithaca double barrel 20 ga. but had to make a run to the ATM. Before I got back, it was gone. It was very worn, but I still would've liked to have it. However, I didn't leave empty handed. I asked if he had any ammo for sale, and mentioned I have been looking for 16 gauge ammo. He said "Let me see what I have, I don't even own a 16 gauge". He then went into a back room of his garage and brought out 8 boxes and said he wanted $8 a box. I thought about it for a little bit and decided I would buy 5 boxes and asked what deal he could do on it. He said "how about $5 a box?" So I told him at that price, I would buy all of them, he then proceeded to pull out another 6 boxes, and several bags full of a variety of 12 gauge ammo. Many were 00 Buck, slugs, and 3 1/2" Steel Shot, so I bought all of those also.

I also picked up a NOS Utica torque screwdriver for mounting scopes and etc. I paid $115 total for everything in the picture.

18 boxes of PMC 223 ammo. Story behind it. The LGS where i do my transfers. Had it over a year. He started with a case of it at 10.00 per OTD. Im not finding much 223 cases at the range. And my brass is starting to fail. I looked up what new brass cost.My cost over all loading with new brass i would brake even. Figered with buying the rest i would give him some business besides my transfers. And it will my supplies longer.

Am Trying Very Hard ! Want a Second FAL !:)

But my wife maximizes:scrutiny: the travel budget being well-aware that future age-related “comfort issues” one day… will prevent travel.
