I couldn’t help it. A Turkish Bayonet converted to fit the M1 Garand is hard to come by. I have one in my collection that I bought several years ago at the Birmingham Collector’s show for $30, It was missed labeled And the dealer didn’t really know what it was. I’ve seen the sell for as high as $80.

Last week I got word of a guy selling them on Gunboards pretty cheap. I contacted him and and told him I would take whatever he had left. I got all five shipped for $108. Know I have to find sheaths for them.

The Glock 48, I plan to start using as my EDC when I retire in August. Thought I would dress it up a bit.

Got a new white outline notch rear sight, and a HiViz green FO front sight for my S&W R8.
It originally came with a plain V-Notch rear and a white dot front. Never liked or got used to them.

Pfft, I'd like to be able to go 3 days without buying anything firearms related. Just this week, I bought a Romeo4M just because my 4T was sent back to Sig for replacement. Now the 4T is back. I ordered an 11.3" Ballistic Advantage barrel because it has 40% more dwell time and it was on sale. I ordered another 1K rounds of .223 and a case of .22. Man, this corona thing has got to come to an end.

Hi...
Stopped by the local gun shop and picked up the Schofield clone I put on layaway last week.

Then I checked out a few other gun shops.
Only other thing I bought was a box of Hornady .357Mag 125 gr XTP bullets.

Did notice a couple of nice guns in a couple of the shops. In particular, a used pre lock 686 with a 4" full underlug barrel for $550.
Another shop had a Uberti Cattleman nickle finish .45Colt with a 7-1/2" barrel for less than $600(don't remember the exact price).

Tempting...but I think I will pass for now. Can't buy them all unfortunately...

Most recent purchase was a GP100 last month that I added a fiber optic front sight and Hogue Match Champion style grips to. Shooting PPU lead round nose 38 special through it caused it to jam and stop firing altogether. Cleaning the cylinder pin freed it up and switching to Fiocchi 158gr JHP 357mag it works just fine now.

Lastly bought 3 of these surplus bandoleers. Reading the reviews they will hold either 6 metal / alloy mags, 3 Magpul 30rd mags, or a combo of a 20rd and 30rd Magpul mag in each slot. I'm using them to carry 3 Magpul mags for my truck gun AR15 pistols.

Couple of leather cartridge slides for .38 and .45 Colt arrived today from Midway. They were tight as all git-out so I put a small amount of conditioner in places with a Q-tip and now leaving them alone for a while to get accustomed to their new surroundings. Not in the pic is the Lee .430 bullet sizer kit that came with them.

Yesterday I paid my fee, got fingerprinted (Fingerprinted by a beautiful clerk/deputy; never before have I had a better reason to get myself arrested.), and filled out my application for my state's enhanced carry permit. When it shows up I'll be good to conceal carry in 40 states.
