Do .410 factory loads still cost a small fortune? They certainly did through the ammo shortage!
$29.99 for a box of 25! Definitely expensive. Then add shipping and tax. Painful, but nobody around me (called about 4 gun stores and checked at Meijer) has .410.Do .410 factory loads still cost a small fortune? They certainly did through the ammo shortage!
They are killing us with the prices$29.99 for a box of 25! Definitely expensive. Then add shipping and tax. Painful, but nobody around me (called about 4 gun stores and checked at Meijer) has .410.
Got the Derringer today so had to install the rosewood grips. Interesting the manual says to cock the gun before changing out the grips. While I am waiting for my Bond Arms Derringer, I nabbed these used grips off ebay for $23 including taxes and shipping.

The bench is heavy, but I can easily flip it into my pickup body, upside-down, for moving it around. This bench is one of 10 that I designed and a bunch of us made when we got approval from the Capitol City R&P club to run rimfire benchrest matches, using a multi-purpose smallbore 50 yard range at Capitol City R&P. I designed them to be movable to allow both rimfire 3P and rimfire benchrest. Recently, concrete benches have been constructed, so these nearly 20 year-old benches were surplus. This was the last one available, so I asked and obtained it!!! It's still rock-solid and the top was getting "dry", so I used some wooden deck finish to resurface it. PERFECT! The heavy-duty trash bag is used to keep my wooden stool from weather damage. When not in use, I move it under the bench for further protection.
I just ordered a hard Pelican gun case.
