I got a package from Trigger Shims so I can work on a couple of Ruger revolvers and some Smiths, and the brown truck brought some butler creek scope covers for several rifles that have either lost their scope covers or never had them. ( Tired of dusty lenses in the safe!)
I waited forever on a list for one. Finally I gave up and bought mine off GB in late November of last year. (Come to think of it, I believe I am still on that list .)
If you can’t find the 15 round factory mags, I bought some of the 13 round nickel plated Mec Gar mags from Gun Mag Warehouse. They worked perfectly .
I took the plunge and bought a Hawke Optics low power variable optic. There's not a lot of info about them available. I feel like I took a risk but I think it will be ok. Most of the time I like to stick with the tried and true ways: "That's how great-great-grandad did it. That's how I'll do it." I couldn't agree more, and I also can't explain an inner sense of wanting something different. Funny how the road changes us as much as we shape it.
I bought the Frontier 30 1-6x24mm for $550 (pre-tax). I will be putting this on a Daniel Defense AR Pistol chambered in 5.56 NATO. Range report coming soon. Hawke | Frontier 30 1-6x24 L4A Dot (hawkeoptics.com)
Received 2000 9mm and 1000 .40 bullets yesterday. They all fit in a flat rate box. Felt really bad for my small, female letter carrier. Didn't even think about it when ordering.
A 1,000-round case of 124 gr 9mm Luger Sellier & Bellot, one 200-round case of 62 gr 223 Rem Federal Fusion MSR, and 1,000 rounds of 40 gr 22LR Magtech LRN. I love hoarding ammo and components.
