I have on rare occasion, but chose to walk away, being a firm believer in "never wrestling with a pig . . . you just get dirty & the pig likes it." Situational awareness, consistently applied is my approach to avoiding folks like that.

At one minute she started gettin uncomfortable, two minutes brought squiming, three minutes brought her close to panic and at 4 minutes tears were in her eyes. I moved my hand and quietly told her that wher she lived, she would be lucky to get a response in 15 minutes. Two days later she asked me to sign as a reference for her on her pistol permit application and to teach her to shoot..Conversion is a wonderful thing.

You should have told him that he must believe in one of the freedoms we have. Because of the First Amendment, he has the right to spew all that garbage from his mouth. Then tell him to go preach his garbage in another country.

Wow Im from NY and I have never run into an idiot like this. The worse I have come across is from people who had no idea how a gun operates and repeating stupid bs they heard from the news. Such as thinking semi-automatic, or auto loading means fully automatic. Thinking you can buy a fully automatic M16 for $1000 cash no paper work at a gunshow. Usually once I inform a little these people become more rational and the only reaccuring thing I keep hearing is Fully Automatics should not be legal.
(They arnt in NY we have our own AWB, not even sure with the $200 tax stamp you could own one)
I think people in NY, republican and Democrat alike are more rational that most of the board members think. Our law makers are a WHOLE other topic. Dont get me started on Bloomberg suing gunstores. UHHG! NYC experiences alot of crime, something around 15 people under the age of 18 have been shot in the last month. NY already has one of the strictest handgun laws in the country, so obviously thats not working. My only question is WHERE THE **** DO ALL THESE HANDGUNS COME FROM THAT WIND UP IN CRIMINALS HANDS! Thats what we should be concerned about. Seriously 16 year old kids are getting picked up with handguns, I can't frigging purchase a handgun and im 22!
