you could place it above your front door, so you would know when anyone was even aproaching it. Lets you know when friends are coming over before they hit the bell, and also wakes you up if someone is coming to mess with the door at night....

I just had this delievered today after reding this thread. For $100 plus shipping I think it is a good deal. It comes with a 95 db alarm so that'd be sure to wake you. It took me about 15 minutes to install it all and it was easy to do.

My dollar general store has a twin pack of door alarms for five bucks. the glue to the door and door jamb, and when seperated they alarm pretty loud, louder than any alarm clock I ever found. These run on three button cells. replacement batteries would cost more than new alarms.
