Well, for all of you who like SHTF discussions 'cause of trouble brewing in the Eastern Caribbean - Tropical, likely soon to be Hurricane Chris.
By weekend (according to the National Hurricane Center) the track puts it square in the Florida Straights.....and then afterward....? The Gulf....yuck.
Guess I'll be stocking up on bottled water and canned corn beef this weekend . Luckily I have at least 1500 rds of AK ammo and decent stocks of 9mm for my G19 and .38/357 for my SP 101 (my two carry pistols during bug-outs).
I just know somebody is gonna get clipped - be it Florida or the Gulf Coast. The water is so damn warm when that storm gets to the Gulf it will be like pouring gas on a BBQ.
As an aside, anybody who thinks they may be in harms way can go to the Hurrican website www.supertyphoon.com and there are instructions as to how you can add a URL to your cell phone so ya can call that site up on any Internet capable cell phone or hand-held device.
