I have a couple of loaded rounds with the headstamp of TAA07 with the NATO cross. I'm curious as to where these where made. From my short research I came up with Israel or Thailand as being the closes but both of their's is TA. Can anybody give the correct answer. Oh, yeah the best I can figure out is that the rounds are 7.62x59 (308).

205th Arsenal Taiwan--TAA. I understand it's an arsenal helped to go into business by the US Government? After the end so-called of the Cold War president Klinton and our government at a rapid pace closed and "privatized" a lot of the American ammunition manufacturing. Then the war on Terror happened and our arsenals and private company arsenals can't keep up with demand. What happens if there is a big conflict? Now our muslim loving president won't let us purchase Israeli ammunition because the enemy doesn't like to be shot with it. So we buy ammo for our soldiers from various places because we in the US can't make enough. Don't know anything about the TAA ammo but I've seen some complaints from our military? GENERAL DYNAMICS OTS INC.
11399 16TH COURT NORTHST PETERSBURG, FLORIDA 33716 What I see about the TAA ammo is that it's imported by General Dynamics rather than made at home on American equipment by American workers. Just a rant!
