Headstamp scrapes on 45 ACP...

Sorry, no picture. Getting some scrape marks on the outer rim of once-fired brass; both factory & handloads (185 gr to 230 gr). Possible cause? Appreciate some wisdom on this. Thanks.

Exactly like that. What to do?

Nothing. Does not hunt anything as is. It's a machining mark left over from machining the breach face. 2 cuts did not end up at the same plane. It's normally removed using a scraper, machinist tool. Can be done with needle files but you have to be real careful.
