Heller Tomorrow

I suspect that the 9 high and mighties are wanting to get out of town immediately, indicates to me they know we won't like their ruling.

Was listening to Mark Levin earlier and he stated (his opinion) that this will be one ruling where Justice Kennedy will "throw one to the good guys" or side with Heller on this case, as to offset his other recent votes/decisions and show that he is "fair." :scrutiny: Although Levin speculates it will be a narrow reading/interpretation of the 2A.
And tell me why elections don't matter.:fire:

Be glad that most of you will find out at 10 tomorrow. I have a tee time for 10 and I know that thinking about this will effect my game. Oh well, I can use it as an excuse if I lose.

Has anyone forgotten about the resolution passed by the Montana legislature? They threatened to sever their relationship with the rest of the U.S. if the Supreme Court didn't give them a ruling to their liking.

I doubt they could but if they do, I am comming with.

Scalia will never be served again at a gun shop or hunting club if they find for DC !

Who ever said the Supreme Court was logical?

KKKKKKKKHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

With all of this waiting, hours seem like days.

Hopefully the court will not swing the other way with the next administration. If not I guess we will all be facing the Kobayashi Maru scenario. Beam me up.

I hope THR doesn't crash. That would be a really suck. We need someone to pare down the ruling for us simple folk.

Because I can't read 100 pages of material to get to the basics.

SCOTUS hands a crushing blow to the Second Amendment and then they skip out of town while the folks who do the NICS stuff suddenly discover their machines are down for the weekend. Thus people will be unable to buy any firearms from licensed dealers over the weekend, in what would otherwise have been a rush to stock-up before the ATF sends out various "new policy update" letters to dealers, telling them to turn their stuff in, cease business, etc...

Scalia will never be served again at a gun shop or hunting club if they find for DC !

Hopefully because if that happens, there won't be any DC anymore, let alone SCOTUS.

I would hope that somebody does something if the ruling is blatantly unconstitutional and anti-biblical.

As it has been said...

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

And of course-

Luke 22:36

We'll see how they rule tomorrow, I won't get my hopes up for any sweeping victory for gun-owners.

I am expecting that they will dodge the issue, allow the Second Amendment to stand, making it subject to "regulations deemed necessary for public safety" while specifically overturning the DC handgun ban for being "too far-reaching" and then just leaving us with a situation where we can see our gun-rights gradually eroded over the next two or three decades under the banner of "public safety" all the while we were sleeping since we had counted the overturn of the DC gun-ban as some great victory.

The most likely best-case outcome is that they overturn the DC ban, and even then we still lose, as we will never get rid of 1934 NFA, 1968 GCA, 1986 FOPA Hughes provision.

The worst-case scenario is a total invalidation of the Second Amendment as an individual right to keep and bear arms, followed by a general gun-confiscation. However this would force the hands of many patriots and hopefully help push the American people to where they need to be.

It's easy to be apathetic and content to nothing when you can keep finding excuses for it because it doesn't directly and immediately impact you. When you have a squad of thugs ready to kick down your door, you've suddenly become a militant, a patriot willing to resist tyranny.

Don't worry about that...just listen to NPR, CBS, NBC, (insert media) and they will sum it up for you nicely!:banghead::fire::cuss:

Mabey Montana will nuke D.C. if the ruling is bad. We could hope they get parts of California and Illinois as well. ALL GUN OWNERS, GET OUT OF THERE NOW JUST IN CASE!!!

Well, good luck guys. I hope it's everything you wish for.

The court case or the civil war?? :scrutiny: Cuz I personally want to keep my shooting at paper and the occasional soda can that looks at me the wrong way.

I'm personally hoping my prayers will be answered, but Yahweh God will have things fall into place when He wants to, so that's really all there is to that.

I'd like to have a few more years to prepare, get things squared away, and such, but I'm ready for just about anything (short of having a nuke dropped on me, as I have no bomb shelter), and I'll just take whatever comes, as it comes, and deal with it as it comes.

If it comes tomorrow I'm better prepared than 99% of the population, and I'll take it for what it is. If it comes in five years or ten years, I'll probably be better prepared than 99.9% of the population and I'll take it for what it is. However things go down, I won't worry about them, I'll only contemplate what my first actions will be based upon how I think things might begin to unfold and develop.

It's all in the hands of God now. The people get the leaders they deserve, and Americans have shown themselves deserving of the worst kind of incompetent idiots, tinpot tyrants, and robber barons that can be found. They've slumbered themselves into slavery and let their rights slip away. A people who won't defend their rights, will deservingly lose their rights.

The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

Cast thy burden upon Yahweh Elohim, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm 58;&version=9;

The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.

All I'll say is that you all ought to be ready, that which is written...

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

All we are to know is the season, as shown by the signs of the times, and what sick times we are in!

The Second Amendment is as much about personal rights as it is a religious obligation that was recognized by our Founding Fathers.

Luke 22:36 requires all genuine and true Christians to be armed, no matter what, even if they must sell their clothing to procure weapons. Any government that seeks to interfere with a Christian's obligation to be suitably armed, has declared an unholy war against Christianity.

It is the right and indeed obligation of a Christian to maintaim as many weapons as he (or she) can reasonably afford, and can reasonably keep on his property or in caches located elsewhere.

When Christ returns will He find His followers forming up into units armed only with over-sized foam fingers and plastic bottles or will He find them armed and ready for war?
