I have been wanting to buy a black rifle of my own for a while now, and recently have come up with some funds to look into actually purchasing one. I am currently looking towards the Stag Arms Stag-15 Model 2T, Rock River Arms CAR A4. Any info would be greatly appreciated, such as which rifle is the best as far as: reliability, accuracy, and the best bang for the buck.

Any insight from those who own/ know about these two models and manufacturers such as comparing the trigger's, barrel's, etc.

Also I would love to get some background info on the manufactures, if they make rifles for any gov't agency, how reliable they are, whats their track record and any other info, I don't have a great knowledge about these two manufacturers, I have mainly been looking towards bushmaster the last few years but now have decided on these two rifles. Thanks!

Go to AR15.com and begin reading. There is a wealth of information.

I have a Stag upper and an AMEETEC lower. Purchased separately on AR15.com it cost $685. It is much cheaper to buy the rifle in halves.

Either choice will serve you well, flip a coin if you can't decide, because both of these manufacturers have very good reputations.

As long as you buy from a quality name, you'll be fine -- from what I've been able to tell, the only difference is in the finish.

why on the 28th of this month?

also are all lowers the same? i have very little knowledge compared to some about these rifles, so for instance will any lower fit on just about any upper i buy? and if so why would i want to buy one lower vs. another brand lower?

I can see how the uppers can vary with the barrels and different handguard/rails options and all the other extras but as for the lowers is there a big difference, and if so what brands would be quality buys?

Thanks

Also if you buy a stripped lower, have it put down on the paperwork as a pistol. That way you can swap back and forth from pistol to rifle.
