Ok, I traded my Kahr for a Sig P230 SL and love the Sig, but one out of every 20 rounds or so would cause a problem. The slide would stay locked back. I would break down the gun, clean and oil it, and it'd be fine for another 20-30 rounds and would do it again. I thought maybe it was just my luck but I noticed that the slide stop lever was coming up even before the last round was shot in a mag and hold the slide open. I noticed the gun doesn't have a spring on the lever and thought hmmmm, this would work a whole lot better with a spring there to hold it down until the mag pushed it up after the last round was fired.
Anyways, I was looking through some posts on Sig 230's and saw a guy talking about his gun doing the same thing and one person told him to oil the spring or do something to the spring. Point is I was like "HUH! A spring?!" I can't find a Sig parts list or diagram of a P230 or P232 and would just like to verify that they do have a spring to hold the slide stop lever down. I'd appreciate any responses. Also, any good places to buy the spring, if it exists, or should i just contact Sig USA.
Thanks!
