Ok, I'm not decided yet on if I'm going to SBR the braces or remove them, but in preparation, I thought I'd get the electronic fingerprint file for submission of forms. Only I'm having trouble finding someplace to do it. Local police (county and city) all just collect ink prints. There's a Lab in the area that does electronic fingerprinting but when I went there, they only do it for submission through something called Fieldprint and only for specific reasons for companies and government agencies and won't provide a .EFT file to me. I looked at the Fieldprint site and they have lots of appointment slots but it, again, is only for specific submission; the only option offered to me was to run my own national background check on myself.

So, any ideas? How and where exactly do I find somewhere who can hand me a thumb drive with the .EFT file the ATF wants us to submit?

If we have multiple submissions I presume each card will need to be sent separately. And I really don’t want to go through being inked multiple times

You can submit just two fingerprint cards with multiple Form 1 applications at the same time. You just need to include each cover letter for each Form 1 in the same envelope as your two fingerprint cards.

Say you submit 4 Form 1s at the same time, you would submit all for cover letters with your two fingerprint cards inside the same envelope. Plenty of people do this without issue.

One can ink their own prints as well, you can buy the cards and ink pads with instructions on Amazon.

Do you have a local State Patrol...................our troop here will do them digitally and give you the printed cards, as many as you need.......

Free fingerprint cards have been available from the ATF for quite some time now. I use to keep a stack of them for people to send in when appealing a transfer denial.
