Help! I recently picked up what I beleive to be a pre war Belgian Hi Power.
Serial #340xx . Slide, Barrel, and frame match. No import marks, Belgian proof marks only. Here"s the strange part, it has fixed sights AND is slotted for shoulder stock. Have never heard of this configuration, usually tangent sight slotted. I don't think the slot was cut later because stock hardware fits very good. Does anybody have any input?
