Help Identify this old Colt Revolver

I would be surprised if the Goon took that on. My conversations with him would indicate not so much. If there's no provenance and the OP wants to make it work send me a PM and we can talk about it. ASM parts stand a good chance of working.
 
Bore is terrible, action is seized up, the hammer spur is even broken off.

If somebody broke the hammer spur by beating on it trying to free it up the hand is likely broken but the spring is probably rusted through anyway. Hopefully the hand broke before the ratchet notch for that chamber got boogered up.
 
Yes, I am a tuner and black powder revolver smith as well. Goon is forever telling me he's not a gunsmith, he's quite modest on that. He is also pretty swamped. My bench is nearly cleared, I have 2 open top revolvers just getting finished and a big 1917 S&W Army revolver that's nearly done as well. PM me and we can discuss it further.
