I've got to the point of having too many handguns. I may need to sell off some but first help me decide which few to keep as a primary and seconday gun along with a brief rational, ie S&W 6946 primary with Kel Tec P11 BUG, reason both 9MM and P11 will use 6946 magazines. Below are a list of my handguns:

You've got quite a list! I cant really help you with what you want to keep and what you want to sell, but if you decide to sell, Ill take the G23! :D

I'm always glad to see one of these posts, because it reminds me that I don't yet have enough guns.

You've got quite a few revolvers listed, so I'd go that route. As to which one, couldn't tell you. Lots of good choices and combinations there, but which ones you shoot best with only you know.

Two of the same calibre and operating design.
Revolver vs. auto and caliber, are up to you..

Thought #1-One with a barrel length of4 inches (at least) and one with a short barrel.

Thought #2- Same barrel length

Don't do anything drastic...use plastic

I have started to carry a Glock 37, and if I am out and about in Phoenix proper at night...I back it up with my neat little new Glock 39.

Yeah....I bought all the GAPS.

They are just as reliable as my other six Glocks, which is to say NEVER, EVER had a failure of ANY kind over literally THOUSANDS of rounds.

Some may say the GAP is an answer to a problem that don't exist. Very true, but then again, the .40S&W was supposed to be the Forty Short & Weak.

I like it. It's accurate, as powerful as the ACP, AND it fits my hand better than the Glock 21 or 30.

And, it's kinda like my dog....short, stubby, and has a BIG mouth.

Actually, I'd keep 3:

A winter primary and winter bug, and a summer bug. (During summer, the winter bug moves up to primary, and the summer bug is useful for those "positively can't be made" situations)

Winter primaries:

glocks, sigs, brownings

Winter bugs/Summer primary:

S&W J-frames, Ruger SP101 .357

Summer bugs:

NAAs...although personally, I'd get the Kel-tec P3AT instead of the .32

Primary and secondary

PRIMARY: Keep the .40 Hi Power, and pick up a Bar Sto or KKM
9mm conversion barrel, 9mm magazines also.

SECONDARY: S&W 65-5 LS 3" .357Mag Or Taurus 2.5" .357.

This setup gives you four calibers out of two handguns.

[email protected] if you decide what you want to sell.

You've got a very nice collection. But, honestly?

Primary: S&W 3913 9mm

BUG: S&W 342 .38 Special

great manufacturer with lifetime warranty... outstanding reliability...variety of effective loads for both...lightweight (you're sure to carry them)...not too expensive to practice with regularly...moderate recoil.

I honed my two-gun concealed carry battery years ago to a (customized) Colt Combat Commander in .45 ACP and a (bone stock) S&W 642. I've carried Glock, Browning, Colt, S&W, Seecamp, Walther, Kimber, Ruger, Sig and Taurus and this is what I settled on. Good luck to you.
