I have a Clark Custom Gun That I have had for 20 years or so. Payed over $1000 for if in the 70's. Kimber, Colt Gold Cup, Les Bear, all good guns. I use my Gold CUp for everything From Bulls Eye to concealed carry weapon. You have to watch when buying a Gold Cup, as the had a few rough years and the quality shows. Check the slide for side to side slop or machining and milling marks on the inside slide guides.
Springfeild Armory or Colt if you are looking to spend less than $1000....
But if money is no object....Kimber, LesBaer, or H&K. Personally I like the Les Baer....No no .....Kimber....Hell Just buy both of them....
