I want a good knock-around rifle. I'm torn between the Saiga .223 and the new Ruger target mini-14 w/hogue stock. I understand that the Ruger is probably the more accurate and handier gun, but for the price I could almost get a Saiga .308 and .223. I'm torn. How do the two guns compare accuracy and reliability wise? Which would stand up better to humid or mucky conditions?
