Help me find a 20" AR upper?

The upper cost me $478 (rounded up) A2 stock kit was $60. That was with charging handle, bcg, and handguards. I definately looked around and this was the best deal going, with free shipping too! I sent an email before I ordered and they told me I would have my upper around 15 days from my order + or - a day. I even did a poll for a day and PSA was the landslide winner.

The only other company that came close to PSA (my poll) was Bravo Company. They didn't have any 20" uppers in stock and all these places that were suggested as a middle man online company didn't seem trustworthy enough. The other problem was the upper was around $420, the bcg was $130, the charging handle was another $25, and the handguards (I only saw Magpul rifle length handguards available) were $40. So that added up to $615 dollars! I saved myself $137. Minus the A2 stock kit it still comes out to $77! I couldn't justify spending that much when others ( a very significant amount on three different forums ) said PSA was very close to or as good as quality of BCM. The only main gripes I found was their shipping times kind of suck and they haven't been around as long as BCM.

All I know now is I can't wait to get my upper and stock! I already started reloading some ammo for my day of fun to come!

hey mastiff, you should take that nephew of yours and go to an Appleseed marksmanship clinic. You guys would love it. The kid shoots for free, and you only pay $70 for a weekend. Your AR's and your 10/22 would all work fine, since most of the shooting is done on the 25m Army Qualification Test. You need about 400 rounds each.

Just got my upper and A2 stock today, put it together in about 10 minutes. I ended up using my SR-556 lower other than the Bushy lower, it fit really tight! The fit and finish is great, I will definately recommend and buy from Palmetto State again! Here is the pic!
