Help me find a CA-Legal single-shot take down rifle

I want a single-shot take down rifle, preferably in .308 or similar sized cartridge.

I think my best option is the Thompson Encore. Those can be broken down into stock and barrel easily, right?

Must be take-down (able to break it down into two or more parts), accurate, and in a major caliber; .308, etc.

The simple NEF's are easily broken down, cheap, all major calibers and usually very accurate. Thompsons can be had in both handgun and rifle configuration. I don't know if the Thompson handguns are on the CA approved list.
