Help me pick a .22 pistol

I got to shoot today. I decided to go for 30 ft. I tried some Remington Golden Bullet bulk pack, Federal Premium, and CCI subsonic. The Federals kept at about 2 inches. The CCI subsonics were about the same; maybe 2.5 inches. The Golden Bullets were all over the place; sometimes 2.5 inches, other times 4+. You could actually hear the difference in loads on the Golden Bullets. I swear I could see one travel to the target.

After shooting, I decided to break it down and clean it. With the help of a couple videos, I took it apart, disassembled the bolt, cleaned the black crud out of the inside, ran a brush and a patch through the barrel, and reassembled it. Once I figured out the trick to locking it back together, it went pretty smooth.

Overall, I'm glad I bought it.

And that's what matters most, congrats.

I've thought about buying the 4 or 4.5" barrel for my buckmark. Maybe one day I will.

I have found Wolf Match Target and CCI MiniMags to give me very good accuracy and reliable performance from just about every .22 pistol and rifle that I used them in. Federal Auto Match gives fairly decent results as well. Have never been all that thrilled with any Remington rimfire ammunition.

I've not had a problem yet with my sr22, and I had one of the first ones in my area. Reliable, intuitive, and digests any ammo. The only problem is it's hungry. VERY hungry...

Ummm...... the OP has already bought the MK3 4 and posted that he shot it in the 1st post on this page.

I have a Walther P-22 that is solid, accurate and dependable. The only feed problems I had was when I bought underpowered cheap ammo when .22 ammo was so scarce.
